Hi there! I’m a Sydney local through and through. Originally from the multicultural melting-pot of Fairfield, I moved to the now cosmopolitan Lower North Shore, enjoying life wedged between the city, harbour and Manly Beach — before settling with my family in the down-to-earth and picturesque Sutherland Shire.

Like many of you, I’ve been watching the Sydney property market all my life and have experienced every emotion under the sun.

I remember (and miss) the days when we would talk about things other than real estate and making money.

I suffered from FOMO for many years, dismissing the chance to own a home in Sydney because I felt like I couldn’t afford it. FOMO was a big source of angst and sapped away from my otherwise blessed and privileged Sydney life.

That is, until I realised that I could afford to live in Sydney — if I did some research and prioritised what’s important for my family.

Watching Sydney change and seeing people make the biggest purchase of their lives without knowing everything makes me feel uneasy.

Finding reliable, unbiased information on new listings is really hard.

There’s lots of data, some information — but not much insight.

That's where SydNest comes in. Here, you'll get my honest take on new listings that pique my interest.

Instead of just sharing Domain or Realestate.com.au links to my friends saying “this house looks great”, I thought I would just blog it.
